DTF (Direct to Fabric) is a transfer method that uses a water based ink and is printed on a clear carrier sheet.

Unlike vinyl, there's no weeding, layering, or cutting on your machine.

Simply pre-press your garment, align the transfer, and use an iron, heat press, or Cricut Easy Press to apply the correct temperature, time, and pressure (see instructions below if needed).

THE DTF SIZE: 9.5" ON THE LONGEST SIDE - ADULT

Our transfers can be applied to any fabrics of any color and can even be transferred to wood, galvanized metal and canvas boards for craft projects.

IT'S RECOMMENDED TO USE A HEAT PRESS WITH DTF TRANSFERS FOR BEST RESULTS BUT YOU CAN USE A CRICUT HEAT PRESS WITH MORE PRESSING TIME AND PRESSURE.

How to Press Print Cut Craft's DTF Transfers

Place the transfer on the shirt (or other material) with the vibrant side up facing you.

Design will be printed as a mirror image with white ink on surface.
1. Place garment on heat press and pre-press to get out any moisture - press at 320 degrees for 5-10 seconds.

2. Add direct to film transfer onto garment with image (right reading) facing up.
Press with firm pressure at 320°F for 10 seconds.

3. Let garment cool down a bit then starting from a corner with the most ink coverage and remove in one, rapid motion (like removing a bandage).

4. Place garment on heat press, cover with standard parchment paper or Teflon finishing sheet and press for 5 seconds.

How to care for garments after transferring?

PCC recommends that all DTF transfers are washed inside out on a cool or cold cycle. Hang dry for longevity or use a no/low heat tumble dry. The less heat that is used when washing and drying will reduce the amount of wear and will help to keep your graphics vibrant!

We are not responsible for damaged transfers after you have pressed them. Please make sure you are knowledgable on your heat, pressure and peeling technique. This includes using non-commercial grade heat presses or irons.
